This was certainly a restaurant worth visiting; in fact I did so only a few minutes after it was suggested I try the food, rarely do I move quite so quickly but, when excellent recommendations are given, actions speak louder than words!
It had actually taken me four hours of non-stop driving to reach my destination, in the heart of Chester Le Street, close to Durham in the north east of England. I have to share a secret with you, the restaurant was recommended by a cousin who lives no further than a minutes drive from this increasingly popular restaurant and uses it as a regular haunt to collect supper.
