This is the very latest addition to the Reading restaurant, a brand new restaurant but the owners come to Reading with a highly successful restaurant in Isleworth London, one bearing the same name as this new one. Coming to Reading with such experience in the culinary world brings with it great expectations, and so it was off to sample the delights of the native Nepalese cuisine on offer.

A very smart, fresh and tidy restaurant was our initial opinion, everything brand new, right down to the uniforms of the staff, attentive and most gracious in their welcome, a more than adequate reflection of the Nepalese nation. There are two floors of seating to enjoy in this colourful and tidy restaurant, adorned simply with a few views of home in Nepal.

The menu in its forward suggested that the restaurant looked `forward to making your evening a night to remember, time was going to tell if they were true to their word!

They have an Ideal location in Reading; Kings Road has a number of restaurants offering a variety of choice to local diners, and so competition maintains standards, and Reading are becoming a centre of culinary variety, here on London Street, The Oracle and on the Oxford Road, variety of food, value and sheer opportunity, Reading has literally become a United Nations of restaurant choices, and I and many others are simply delighted to appreciate the choice.

After a couple of papadoms, with chutney and pickles it was jointly decided that a shared starter would be the order of the day. We chose Chicken Sandhe Ko, small pieces of chicken tossed with red onions, freshly served ginger & garlic with the chefs
