Hi, my name is Lucy Feaver, eight months, and now the very proud owner of my first ever passport, one that allowed me to travel recently to Belgium with my mum and dad and my grandma and grandfather on a short break, visiting friends for a wedding and also staying in a couple of continental hotels.

One of the problems that young people like me encounter as we travel around the country and beyond is the lack of consistency in the sleeping arrangements, so many of my friends are subject to lumpy beds, soft mattresses and poor travel cots, leaving us grumpy during the day and unable to perform to our usual high standards. You know the feeling, poor sleep affects adults as well as we delicate and adorable infants, and so the search was on for a travel cot that would give me the consistency and comfort I will need for many months to come, especially as Emma and Jamie, mum and dad to me, continue to travel near and far to visit new destinations as well as show me off to friends and family.

I pointed mum towards the Mamas & Papas website and let her mouse do the searching, and within minutes she had found the ideal solution. Looking at the range she centred in on the Vogue, and was able to have a closer and more detailed look at the this particular travel cot when we travelled to our nearest stockists to see it close to hand. Five minutes later we were leaving the store with the travel cot neatly packaged in its travel bag ready for the European journey ahead.

Mum is a great reader of all things baby, and many of the baby guidance books state that a travel cot should be used for a few days before any visit; just to allow a short period of
