We have been visiting friends in Leuven, Belgium, for more than fifteen years and we thought we had seen most of the sites in the area during this time, walking with friends and family on our numerous visits to this delightful University City some twenty minutes from Brussels. Never did we think that in recent years there was a magnificent hotel situated so close to the Grand Place, the centre of much of cultural life within the city, yet in such a quiet and secluded location, hidden from general view and yet so close to all things central in Leuven.

A former nunnery it certainly had some very modern and greatly appreciated habits, not the least of which is bringing peace and tranquillity to the temporary residents within its marvellous rooms with a delightful combination of style, charm and pleasure.
